deZ-report about Salone Satellite 2010

La recessione si è sentita poco. Magari si fanno un pò di debiti per realizzare il prototipo ma bisogna esserci ad ogni costo, sperando che arrivi l’”imprenditore-azzurro” che produrrà il tuo oggetto.

Tra le tante cose più o meno scontate, il SaloneSatellite ha detto che quest’anno vanno molto i complementi d’arredo che ricordano animali domestici. Un’altra tendenza riscontrata è quella degli oggetti di design per “bambini” che si differenziano in due filoni:

-giocattoli per adulti, tipo il cavallo a dondolo formato big  ma con le sembianze di una pecora (?) stilizzata (di cui non ci ricordiamo nè autore, nè nome),  oppure;

-giocattoli per adulti come  il tavolo i cui piedi non sono altro che le pareti di una “casetta-sotto-il-tavolo” con tanto di rivestimento interno in carta da parati a fiori, molto utile ad aiutare i bambini veri a non avere alcuno stimolo a costruirsi da soli i giocattoli come una  “casetta-sotto-il-tavolo” a gusto suo.

Ad ogni modo a noi sono piaciuti i seguenti prodotti:

#1: LOG BOWLS di loyalloot che rivelano poeticamente il vero colore della linfa che scorre negli alberi;

#2: gli armadi di Matthias Ries Design Office che con quei piedini sottili sembra che stiano sulle punte (e ci si può facilmente pulire sotto);

#3: lo scrittoio di dareStudio che è elegantissimo e ricorda un pò Zaha Hadid;

#4: Schermatto di Paola De Francesco e Joao Silva è semplicemente fantastico, lo guardi e cominci a pensare a tutti i posti in cui potresti metterlo e alle mille cose da appenderci;

#5: le buisness card di axisforlab, in legno, molto “Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie”;

#6: il Tavolo Albero di Francesca Casati me lo metterei anche in casa come scrivania;

#7: Isometric Table by kalonstudios: quando una cosa è bella è bella;

#8: UbiKit LXT di Oliver Pitot è come la libreria IKEA ma molto più facile da montare (e non è poco) grazie a dei semplici profilati in alluminio (quelli rossi);

#9: Moon in Shadow di Xiangfei Ran è una poesia e tutti noi ci inchiniamo davanti ad una tale sensibilità.

Recession doesn’t feel so much. Maybe you’ll do a little debt to make the prototype but you must be there at any cost, hoping to meet the ‘entrepreneur-charming” that will produce your item.

Among the many things more or less predictable, SaloneSatellite said that this year the trend is furnishings looking like pets. Another trend is that of design objects for “children” divided into two strands:

-adult toys, like the rocking horse size big in the guise of a stylized sheep(?) (we do not remember neither author, nor name), or;

-adult toys like the table whose feet are nothing but the walls of a “house-in-the-table” with a lining wallpaper flowers, very useful to help children not to have any real incentive to build their own toys as a “house-in-the-table” to his taste.

Anyway we liked the following products:

# 1: LOG BOWLS by loyalloot, poetically revealing the true color of the sap which courses through the trees;

# 2: cabinets by Matthias Ries Design Office with those thin legs seem to be on the tips (and you can easily clean under it);

# 3: the writing by dare Studio, so elegant and reminiscent Zaha Hadid;

# 4: Schermatto by Paola De Francis and Joao Silva is just amazing, you look and start thinking about all the places you could put him and a thousand things to hang;

# 5: axisforlab’s buisness card, wood, very “Alice in Wonderland”;

# 6: The Table Tree by Francesca Casati: I would put it in my house as a desk;

# 7: Isometric Table by kalonstudios: when something is beautiful, is beautiful;

# 8: UbiKit LXT by Oliver Pitot is similar to the IKEA one but  easier to install through the simple aluminum profiles (red ones);

# 9: Moon in Shadow by Xiangfei Ran is a poem and we all bow before such a sensitivity.
